Key Responsibilities:
Recordkeeping and Data Entry:
Record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
Maintain and update financial records and ledgers accurately and timely.
Bank Reconciliation:
Reconcile bank statements with company records to ensure accuracy.
Investigate discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
Invoicing and Payment Processing:
Prepare and issue invoices to clients or customers.
Process payments, track outstanding receivables, and follow up on overdue accounts.
Payroll Support:
Assist in the preparation and processing of employee payroll.
Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Expense Tracking:
Monitor and record company expenses.
Verify and process reimbursements and ensure proper documentation.
Financial Reporting:
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Support audits by providing necessary financial data and documentation.
Compliance and Taxation:
Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations.
Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns.
Support to Senior Accountants:
Assist senior accountants in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.
Provide administrative and clerical support to the finance team.
Inventory and Asset Management:
Maintain records of inventory and fixed assets.
Assist in regular inventory checks and audits.
Outbound and Inbound calls
Analyzing engagement data, identifying trends in customer interaction and planning digital campaigns to build community.
Search the Internet for information on a wide variety of topics.
Full responsibility for managing the day-to-day accounts function ensuring Sage and Xero are accurate and up to date.
