• Identify areas for enhancement in the guidelines on food related concerns/programs.
• Monitor and assess effectiveness and efficiency of the program using the outcome of the annual evaluation (nutritional status and online monitoring/evaluation) to further enhance strategies and intervention being provided.
• Prepare/enhance food plan/cycle menu to be used in the day care centers.
• Review practices and demonstrate strategies to Local Government Units (LGUs) in the management of food nutritional needs in the day care centers.
• Monitor nutritional status (NS) of children beneficiaries. Review, analyze, prepare, and submit regional nutritional status report.
• Review/assess various requests from partners/stakeholders and provide appropriate responses/assistance on a timely manner.
• Coordinate with stakeholders related to the implementation of nutrition program.
• Prepare and review food related projects.
• Conduct in-house program audit to identify problems, objectives and standards based on implementing guidelines.
• Conduct/facilitate/assist meetings, dialogues, trainings, seminars, conventions, and conferences.
• Monitor and provide technical assistance to the LGUs on SFP implementation.
• Resource person/speaker on nutrition related topics as invited.
• Develop, enhance and prepare nutrition information, education and communication (IEC) or advocacy materials or activities in support to feeding program and nutrition.
• Prepare communications letters/memos/transmittal to LGUs, CO and other agencies.
• Prepare project proposal on SFP and nutrition related activities.
• Prepare allocation of goods to all LGUs with fund and review allocations of Child Development Centers (CDCs).
• Assists in the compliance on the directives of the Secretary.
• Attend meetings/seminars/trainings/fora.
• Perform other related tasks as needed.
• Gather, consolidate, and prepare updates on nutrition and nutritionrelated reports.
• Collect, collate, and analyze relevant information/reports for regional database and prepare feedback to local government units.
• Conduct trainings, meetings, dialogues, conventions, and conferences.
• Prepare guidelines, project proposals, and resolutions on nutrition and related programs.
• Prepare and monitor distribution and utilization of nutrition information, education and communication materials.
• Conduct field visits to validate data/reports.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the nutrition programs of the Local Government Unit.
• Resource person/speaker on nutrition related topics as invited.
• Attends inter-agency meetings as needed.
• Prepares communication letters and documentation reports of activities conducted.
• Performs other functions as may assign
