I am Gretchel Superio Arellano, physically and emotionally upright. I was born on July 15,1990 and I am 35 years old. I am from Polomolok, South Cotabato, Philippines.
I’m currently working as a Production Supervisor at RD TUNA CANNERS LTD. base in Papua New Guinea since February 2020. I am a Graduate of Diploma in Fisheries Technology, Major in Fish Processing at Mindanao State University-General Santos City Last April 2010. During my college years, I have developed my written and verbal communication. I have earned sufficient knowledge in Microsoft word, excel and PowerPoint operation from my study and work which can help me perform my job well.
I am Hardworking, practical, and sincere; People-oriented, extrovert, easygoing and flexible in terms of dealing with different personalities; Observant and known for grasping concepts and details rapidly or in simple words “fast learner”.
I like to be challenged and welcome opportunities with great degrees of enthusiasm and excitement. I am confident that my work experience has made me significantly confident and has developed my aura of becoming more responsible in the assigned tasks. -Supervise all the activities of fish unloading in vessels, classification, cold storage, fish withdrawals and whole round fish loading in reefer vans or vessels.
Ensures unloading activities, fish sampling, and classification are carried out in accordance to RDTC’s procedures and HACCP Plan.
Coordinates with QC supervisor/QC Inspectors on the documentation, fish sampling and disposition of fish prior to the classifying/Sorting activities.
Conduct regular monitoring of vessel GMP and sanitation as needed.
Ensure proper sizing, classification and weighing on the RDTC approved fish lots and sizes species.
Responsible in the inventory and safe keeping of fish. Ensures target cold temperatures target Cold Storage Temperature is achieved and maintained.
Acts as a custodian of all RDTC fish and raw materials stored in the Cold Storage.
Ensure that all fish lots are in FIFO during the Withdrawal in Cold Storage. Counterchecks Cold Storage Withdrawal Weight Record.
Oversees standard loading procedures of round fish in the reefer container and monitor reefer temperature after loading.
Ensures timely and accurate reconciliation with Suppliers representatives and NFA- CDS team fish receipts for Verified Landed Weight (VLW) initiation.
Ensures timely and accurate reconciliation with NFA-CDS team of fish receipts and withdrawal of fish movement.
Implements corrective action on any deviation observed during vessel unloading, reefer and vessel loading and cold storage activities and coordination with QC.
Conducts regular performance evaluation of his subordinates and submits recommendations to commend their performance.
Trains, motivates, and disciplines his subordinates.
Reviews and submits daily processing reports.
Implements Good Manufacturing practices (GMP) and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedure (SSOP) within his area of responsibility.
Works in accordance with established occupational, health and safety programs of the department and of the company such as wearing of the prescribed PPE, obey and respect warnings and signage and other relevant safety measures.
Reports unsafe conditions and practices to the immediate superior by making suggestions or removal of accident hazards.

Conducts effeciency and recovery validation of the product process.

Addresses a products physical appearance, functionality and composition.
Assessing the procedures that make up production process, as well as inspecting and calibrating auditing tools, such as scales, rulers, and other testing equipment’s.
Supervise teams of inspectors and participate in QC Audits.
Ensure all quality specifications are met with any given products or procedure.
Communicates with employees to determine if job functions are carried out with the aspects of quality in mind.
Assist QAM with special assignments needed.
Assist all Departments in documentation processes, work instructions, flow chart related paperwork.
In-charge of periodical verification and review of the quality system to observe if they are according to the standards that were required.
Inspect inquiry, appraise and report all the facts found regarding the systems deficiencies and inadequacy.
Assist developing HACCP Plans and SOP’s
Document and report the results of investigation of problem and complaints to QAM.
Maintain accurate and organized records of QA activities.
Verify HACCP CCP’s
Participate in preparation for 3rd Party Audits.
Maintain ongoing company compliance with the applicable regulation and 3rd party auditor requirements.
Take over office and process work in QA’s absence.
Conduct spot audit on the plant premises daily and recommend areas that need improvement in the company’s quality implementation. Make report of the audit deficiency findings for immediate action.
Audit quarterly the plant premises, GMP, and SSOP practice and report findings to supervisor for immediate action.
Monitor harvest vessel at Market 1 (PFDA) weekly.
Conduct swabbing analysis on harvest vessel monitoring.
Orients newly hired employees re GMP, SSOP and HACCP.
Analyzing engagement data, identifying trends in customer interaction and planning digital campaigns to build community.

Promote companies' products and services by developing copy for websites, social media, marketing materials.
