As a single parent, I see that freelancing is an ideal job. Where I can work comfortably at home while also caring for my child, and of course without the hassle of commuting! Apart from the convenience, I believe that freelancing is a complex job, where you can learn something new almost every day, and it excites me! In almost a decade of working in the corporate world, I have learned a lot; from customer service, admin tasks, leadership, and even sales. And each has different job responsibilities and I can confidently say that I was able to overcome everything because I believe that knowledge and skills can be easily taught when you are willing to be trained. I see myself as a hardworking and passionate person. I am also a great team player with good interpersonal skills and a well-focused person, wherein I'd like to manage my time doing a task and accomplish it in a timely manner.

My job responsibilities here are to answer calls, emails, and chats from our crew members, shipboard HR department, contractors, etc. We assist to book the outbound and inbound flights, and hotel accommodations of our crew members who will join and/or disembark the ship, or transfer to a different vessel. For after-hours, we sometimes receive guests' calls, mainly if they are experiencing flight interruptions.
Prospecting and seeking clients and sharing knowledge about finances and the advantage of having insurance and investment. I managed my own Facebook page to get the attention of the people and I also created and planned my content on a daily basis.
Managing a real estate page, answering queries, and prospecting possible clients offering their dream house. I also have my own page and create my own posters, scheduling my content to engage with the market.
I handled a corporate account wherein we assist the employees in an oil
company all over the world. Booking starts with their flight, car, and hotel.
We have to make sure that their flight or itinerary is in compliance with the
company rule.
- Handling Business to Business accounts of our travel partners, assisting them on the online flight bookings, re-booking and re-issuance of flights, re-name, adding of baggage, and other flight services.
- After 3 years of my service, I was promoted to Team Leader. Aside from the administrative tasks, daily reports, recruitment, one on one coaching with the team members, management meeting, and handling partners' escalations and complaints through emails and calls, the most challenging yet fulfilling of this role is my connection with my team members. Understanding their needs and personal issues, to make sure that their work performance and team target were not compromised is one of the topmost handled tasks.
In a short span of time in my work as HR/Admin Staff, I have gained a lot of knowledge on the recruitment process, data entries, and other administrative tasks. I resigned after 4 months of my employment due to delicate pregnancy.
As a Tier 1 Advisor Customer Care Assistant, we do assist the customer
queries, concerns, and complaints about their iTunes Store account and provide
excellent service and assistance through email.
