I am a Licensed Professional Teacher who has ventured into various roles within the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), gaining valuable experience in data collection, statistical research, and project leadership. My professional journey began as an Enumerator for the 2020 Census Population and Housing, where I played a crucial role in gathering demographic and housing data essential for national planning and development.
Building on this foundation, I worked as a Statistical Researcher for the 2021 Labor Force Survey and the 2021 Family Income and Expenditure Survey (First Visit), where I contributed to national surveys that provide insights into the country’s economic and labor trends. These experiences strengthened my research and analytical skills, allowing me to have a broader understanding of data's role in shaping public policy.
In addition, I served as a Screener for the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys), assisting in the nationwide implementation of this landmark project. This role involved screening and verifying individual applications for the national ID system, contributing to a project that aims to enhance access to public services and promote economic growth.
Most recently, I led a team for the 2024 Census Population and Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) Nationwide Implementation. This three-month, project-based position involved managing a team, coordinating logistics, and ensuring the smooth execution of tasks for a nationwide survey that directly impacts government policy and resource allocation.
While I am not actively practicing as a teacher, my experiences in the PSA have equipped me with strong leadership, organizational, and research skills. I am passionate about contributing to projects that have a meaningful impact on society and am always open to opportunities that allow me to continue growing both professionally and personally.
