Hi! I’m Elyzza Carmelle, a 29-year-old professional from the Philippines, a licensed teacher by profession, and your go-to Virtual Assistant for reliable, detail-oriented, and flexible support.
As a public elementary school teacher for the past 6 years, I’ve learned to wear many hats — mentor, coordinator, planner, communicator, and even tech support. In our field, flexibility isn’t just a trait — it’s a requirement. From creating lesson plans and reports to organizing school events and adapting to sudden changes in policies or platforms, we learn how to juggle responsibilities with efficiency and adjust quickly to different tools and systems, including computers and social media. This exposure sparked my curiosity and led me to explore more opportunities beyond teaching — that’s where I discovered my passion for virtual assistance.
Before becoming a teacher, I gained valuable professional experience in various roles that built the foundation for the virtual assistant I am today. I started as a Market Researcher at Survey Sampling International, where I conducted outbound calls to gather key data on customer behavior and preferences. I followed scripts, engaged with respondents professionally, and ensured that every answer was accurately recorded and encoded. It was here that I developed strong communication skills and the ability to work with precision under pressure.
After that, I joined the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) as a Data Encoder on a project-based contract. My task was to handle highly technical land survey data, which required me to master encoding detailed information — such as property boundaries, land classifications, and geographic descriptions — into government databases. It was during this period that I sharpened my data accuracy, focus, and technical documentation skills.
Eventually, I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, followed by a Master’s Degree in Educational Management, passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers in 2018, and have since dedicated myself to teaching. But in all those roles — researcher, encoder, and teacher — I recognized myself as a “Jack of All Trades”: the one you can count on for anything from technical tasks to people management.
With all these experiences combined, I’ve developed a solid set of skills that naturally transitioned into my role as a Virtual Assistant
