Assist in reviewing credentialing files and work with healthcare providers to obtain missing, incomplete and expiring items; must adhere to strict hospital requirements and deadlines.
• Work alongside various departments in the company. Effective internal communication is key.
• Responsible for reminding candidates when important documentation is approaching expiration; provide ample notice to candidates to ensure renewal prior to expiration. This includes licensure, certifications, lab and clinic items and any compliance-related items that must be updated according to facility requirements.
• Utilize advanced problem solving skills daily to resolve issues and conflicts that may arise
• Build rapport with candidate and maintain long-term working relationship to guide them through the process to remain in compliance while on assignment.
• Assist in maintaining consistent contact with healthcare providers to ensure that expectations are clear and requirements are completed in a timely manner
