I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy in 2020, during the pandemic and lockdown period. Finding a job that aligned with my degree was challenging, so I entered the BPO industry. I worked as a customer service representative for almost 2years, which greatly helped my finances and enhanced my communication skills. During this time, I also led a team and assisted new hires, demonstrating my ability to work well in a team. I am hardworking, quick to adapt, and eager to learn new things.
In 2022, I became an accounting staff member at a hotel in Boracay. My responsibilities included processing and posting payments from guests and advance payments from travel agencies. I also corresponded with agencies via email and prepared statements of account for each booking and overall I focused on financial side of the company. Additionally, I have proven experience as a virtual assistant across various niches, including digital marketing, social media management, and outreach. In my most recent role, I focused on the finance side of the business, using QuickBooks and Go High Level for all transactions.
