Hi, I am Carmella Alforque, an experienced and responsible HR Virtual Assistant and HR Specialist with strong knowledge of human resources practices and office administration. Ability to maintain an organized employee database by collecting time and attendance records, and carefully organizing paperwork with existing and future employees. RECRUITMENT
-Performed recruitment duties such as scheduling interviews, updating the calendar accordingly, answering phone calls, and monitoring emails.
-Worked closely with the human resources department to maintain the candidate database and handle any relevant paperwork.
-Screened candidates by performing background checks and
verifying their qualifications and experience.
-Completed new hire procedure by coordinating manning and recruitment process and managing commencement and new hire payroll procedure.
-Successfully prescreened applicants to support recruitment in hiring of new employees for company’s vacant position.
-Informed applicants of hiring procedures and recruiting needs to assist in appropriate placement of qualified candidates
-Sourced candidates through the database, job boards, social media networks, events, head-hunting, and referrals.

GENERAL ADMIN
-Organized both office and computerized filing systems, improving accessibility to applicant/new hire information which enhanced office workflow.
-Maintained and processed 200+ personnel files, human resources records, and documentation according to established protocols and by upholding strict confidentiality.
-Primary point of contact for general questions regarding handbook, policies and procedures, benefits, workers compensation, and payroll for all employees.

PAYROLL
-Achieved payroll timekeeping every payroll period to manage employee compensation and benefits and employment movement (including payroll management, insurance programs, transfer, promotion, resignation, etc.)
-Assisted the payroll department in ensuring that all receivables from employees are deducted accurately and on time.
-Managed timeline for payroll-related activities, projects, and served as a resource to employees for payroll and benefit questions.
-Supported reports generation by administering data collections for relevant payroll reports such as leave provisions, pay out schedules, etc.
-Validated timekeeping records and checks with employees on any discrepancies
-Reviewed and final checked payroll per cut-off for all employees to ensure precise and timely payments.
EMPLOYEE RELATIONS
-Conducted and resolved employee relations issues and investigations and facilitating admin hearing investigations for workplace investigations and grievance solution.
-Keen in documentation and with strong exposure in creating and processing of employee cases, memorandums, notices, and internal labor processes.
-Created a spreadsheet to monitor and track all employees NTE’s and disciplinary action letters.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
-Tracked and updated hourly employee leaves of absence to the system. Administers both governments mandated and company- initiated benefits at the Corporate and/or Site level. Likewise, ensures that all benefits administered are consistent to their corresponding status and level and on certain occasion, escalates special cases to the HR Leaders for further evaluation and approval.
-Administration of government mandatory benefits such as but not
limited to: reporting new hires and resigned to government agencies.
-Assist with loans, sickness, maternity benefits applications. Fulfill
employees' request such as Philhealth related documents, list of remittance of contributions, etc.
-Prepared payment requests for SSS, PAG-IBIG, and PHILHEALTH to be submitted to the accounting department.
-Provided assistance of queries and concerns to employees in submission and follow-up of Government and/or Company Benefits
-Endorsed HMO insurance of regular employees and enrolled new TIN
-Number through BIR online electronic registration.
-Properly monitored and follow through SSS maternity and sickness reimbursement. Monitor government loans for timely deduction in payroll.
