It should be updated and in any case that there is a discrepancy, I need to find the cause of the discrepancy and make a journal entry to correct it. Part of the job of an accounting clerk is to record the sales, stock inventory and expenses of a certain store that was assigned to you. You also check and liquidate a small fund for the store. To add to the workload as an accounting clerk you safekeep all documents forwarded to you for internal and external auditing.
