Solicits, reviews, develops and manages the bank’s loan portfolio as well as promotes/cross-sells other bank products and services to prospective and existing customers to help attain the bank’s objective in terms of growth, profitability, client satisfaction and other objectives set by management.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
· Packages credit facilities suitable for the clients’ needs and prepares corresponding credit proposals.
· Evaluates credit worthiness of client to be able to detect early warning signals of the account.
· Generates collateral business through deposits, international and domestic trade transactions, remittances and foreign exchange transactions.
· Monitor the portfolio periodically to ensure credit quality.
· Ensures proper documentation of all loan accounts.
· Conducts client calls and plant visits.
· Ensures that all loan availments comply with all existing bank policies and Bangko Sentral ng Piipinas (BSP) regulations.
· Provides service to the client and coordinates with other service departments of the bank to service client’s requirements.
· Supervises the Account Coordinators to ensure timely and proper booking of transactions and adherence to bank and regulatory policies.
· Prepares a summary of portfolio movements/performance on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
· Brings to management’s attention potential problem accounts and undertake remedial measures to avoid possible losses to the Bank.
· Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time.
Assists in meeting the unit’s targets thru servicing daily requirements of clients, maintaining updated data/information on accounts, and ensuring completion of all loan-related documentary requirements to assist them in analyzing clients’ requirements and/or credit worthiness.
Coordinates with concerned units regarding the appropriate management of accounts to ensure adequate delivery of bank services to clients.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
· Gathers and collates necessary and updated information/data on accounts. Ascertains the authenticity and completeness of documents submitted.
· Maintains updated lists and loan ticklers of accounts.
· Assists in pre-screening of loan applicants thru conducting phone verifications for in-depth interview to verify the veracity of information on the application as well as in surveying pricing/ transactions of clients with other banks.
· Prepares basic analysis/evaluation of client’s proposal to provide them with inputs in their decision-making process.
· Follows-up submission of legal/documentary requirements on credits. Ascertains the authenticity and completeness of documents submitted. Coordinates with Credit Group – Credit Investigation and Appraisal Division for appraisal of property and credit investigation.
· Coordinates/communicates with accredited companies and loan borrowers for the client’s loans.
· Liaises between clients and Bank’s operating units.
· Assists in making client calls for one on one briefing/consultation of prospective borrowers, presentation of loan guidelines, follow-up of documentary requirements, among others.
· Assists in the preparation of Budget and Business Plans.
· Assists in the preparation of transaction media needed to recommend approval of proposed credits.
· Informs sales agents or client of credit decision made regarding their application, assists them in signing of documents and follows up submission post-approval documentary requirements.
· Coordinates with insurance companies, external agency, legal unit, and other concerned units of the Bank for booking of accounts.
· Monitors and collects on maturities of client’s loan accounts.
· Assists in after sales requests from clients, which include Statement of Account, Account History, loan documents, among others.
· Reviews periodically account profitability and financial condition/performance of accounts.
· Assists in the handling of customer complaints and recommends solutions.
· Files, safekeeps and maintains folders of the accounts being handled. Tracks submission of any documents deficiencies.
· Acts as joint custodian for numbered forms allocated to the center and executes the necessary control functions for the unit’s voice logger.
· Keeps Customer Index Card updated at all times.
· Dispatches outgoing letters, documents and requests.
· Facilitates the reimbursement claims/expenses of the concerned marketing officers.
· Reconciles billings from telephone companies. Monitors all outgoing facsimile messages of the unit.
· Distributes annual reports, interim financials, and statements of conditions to requesting parties.
· Handles and coordinates appointment schedules and possible materials needed by the marketing officers.
· Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time.
