1. Video Editing:
Edit raw footage to create cohesive and visually appealing videos, considering factors such as pacing, transitions, color grading, and audio synchronization.
Trim and rearrange clips to optimize storytelling, flow, and impact.
Incorporate visual effects, graphics, and animations as needed to enhance the video's overall quality.
Ensure the final video adheres to brand guidelines, maintaining a consistent look and feel.
2. Post-production Processes:
Conduct thorough quality checks, reviewing and refining edits, audio levels, and color grading to achieve a polished final product.
Collaborate with the creative team to develop and implement video editing strategies that align with project goals and target audience.
Optimize video formats and compression settings for various delivery platforms, such as social media, websites, and presentations.
3. Asset Management:
Organize and maintain video assets, including raw footage, audio files, graphics, and project files.
Ensure all files are properly labeled, stored, and backed up for easy retrieval and future reference.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging video editing techniques, tools, and software.
4. Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with videographers, photographers, animators, and other team members to coordinate video production and ensure a smooth workflow.
Interpret creative briefs and provide input on the technical feasibility and visual execution of ideas.
Communicate and incorporate feedback from stakeholders, ensuring revisions are implemented accurately and efficiently.
5. Creative Problem Solving:
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that may arise during the editing process.
Propose innovative solutions to enhance video quality, storytelling, and overall impact.
Continuously improve editing skills and stay up to date with the latest trends and techniques in video editing.

• To undertake training as required.
• To undertake additional tasks as directed by the Head of Outreach.
• Priorities’ the security, safety and wellbeing of children and parents at all times during the sessions, and out in the community reporting any concerns in accordance with the Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy .
• To ensure the dignity of the children is upheld at all times
• To participate in staff training as required.
• To attend team and staff meetings.
• To undertake any other duties consistent with this role as reasonably directed by the Head of Early Years.
• Liaise regularly with the Health and Safety Officer who does regular checks of equipment and furniture and arrange necessary repairs.
• Answers inquiries by clarifying desired information; researching, locating, and providing information.
• Resolves problems by clarifying issues; researching and exploring answers and alternative solutions; implementing solutions; escalating unresolved problems.
• Fulfills requests by clarifying desired information; completing transactions; forwarding requests.
