GT Metrix
This is the case study for a website that I handled.
As you can see on the first image above, dated November 24, 2022, the GT Metrix grade was D, the performance was 59%, the structure was 92%, and the web vitals were LCP-5.3s, TBT-35ms, and CLS-06.
After 2 months of managing it, as you can see on the image above dated Jan. 5, 2023, the GT Metrix was improved from D to C, the performance was improved from 59% to 63%, although the structure was down from 92% to 89%, but most importantly, the LCP under web vitals was improved from 5.3s to 4.8s. It means that the load time for Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) was decreased by 0.5 seconds.
After another month since the GT Metrix improved, on the third image dated Feb. 23, 2023, the GT Metrix was improved again from C to B; the performance was also improved from 63% to 75%; the structure was also improved from 89% to 97%; and most importantly, the LCP under web vitals was improved again from 4.8 seconds to 3.0 seconds. It means the load time of Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) was decreased by 1.8 seconds.
After 3 months since the GT Metrix improved, on the fourth image dated May 22, 2023, the GT Metrix remains, but the performance was again improved from 75% to 83%; the structure remains, too, but the LCP under web vitals was improved again from 3.0 seconds to 2.6 seconds. It means the load time of Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) was decreased by 0.4 seconds.
This will make the website faster to load, and Google prefers to rank a website that is blazing fast.
The Daily Monitoring
Every day I checked the website using Lighthouse in inspect element.
As you can see, the SEO score was around 83 before I did some fixing in November.
After doing some fixes, the SEO score increased to 100 and even increased its accessibility as well.
Google Search Console
In August 2022, this site had 99 clicks and 33,500 impressions before I handled it.
After handling this site in November 2022, the number of clicks and impressions increased to 400 and 161,000, respectively, from November to December 2022. The average position has also improved.
Ranking Keywords
Before I handled the site, the main keyword "sbobet" had not been ranked in Google searches. Especially in niches like this, it is extremely difficult to perform on Google.
But after optimizing the on-page and technical SEO, we're able to rank the main keyword "sbobet" with an 89KD, which hadn't happened before in 5 months. After it, I received from my team leader a message like this:
