The State Government has announced Bellevue as the preferred location for the new multi-functional depot, Bellevue Depot, which will include an Assembly Facility, High Voltage (HV) Testing Facility and various maintenance facilities. The works for this depot will be delivered in two stages.

Besides, to support the manufacture of the new railcars, the Bellevue Depot will incorporate facilities for maintenance and stabling of the PTA B-series railcars, which will be displaced from the Joondalup Line and Mandurah Line by the new C-series railcars, a dual gauge facility for the maintenance of the PTA diesel-powered railcars/track machines, a dual gauge wheel lathe and a driver sign-on facility.

The site will facilitate the assembly of the new Alstom EMU and DMU railcars over an extended period.
The site will become a maintenance facility for another 78 EMU sets (234 cars), providing light and
heavy maintenance/overhaul facilities, a wheel lathe and bogie/engine drop, train wash plants,
underframe and interior deep clean facilities as well as stabling for 120 electric railcars. Additionally,
there is a diesel maintenance facility with open access roads for use by local freight operators
(locomotive maintenance) and further diesel ancillary facilities (including provisioning and fueling).

Apple is assisting a multidisciplinary team, which includes subcontractors, in delivering the detailed design of the Bellevue Depot. She coordinates and ensures that deliverables and milestones are submitted as scheduled. Some of her tasks include assisting the SEM on his day to day tasks, and program administration including workshop organization, minute taking, team weekly meetings and inductions.
