In 2017, I got my internship at Fujifilm Philippines. I was assigned in Customer Service where I was exposed in answering customer queries, general management tasks, and clerical works. I spent 3 months working at Fujifilm as an intern and through that experience, my interpersonal and communication skills was practiced since I’ve been handling customer service tasks way back.
I had my first professional experience in July 2019 at Taiwan Professional Tea Company, also known as TPTea, as a Store Manager. I was trained in Taiwan for a month, and I handled Sales and Marketing of the company. As a Store Manager, I experienced developing store strategies to raise customer pool, expand store traffic, and optimize profitability. I was also in charge in researching, planning, developing, and implementing marketing opportunities and sales plans. Part of being a Store Manager is of course to meet the sales goals while maintaining customers satisfaction. These will be meet through an excellent service. And to have an excellent service, we started it through providing feedbacks, training, mentoring, motivating our store staffs.
For me to enhance my knowledge and skills in my field, I attended educational opportunities, conferences, and workshops related to Sales and Marketing, and maintain personal and professional networks.
Now, I am currently a Licensed Financial Advisor in Sun Life Canada Phils, Inc. I chose being a Financial Advisor since it is also related to Sales and Marketing. I still do tasks related to it such us market research and analysis, assess clients’ need and goals, provide financial solutions, monitor accounts, and identify new strategies to meet company goals. Other responsibilities are appointment booking, presentations, unit reports, emails, and mentor rookies. This is also the time where I am honing myself with different skills like photo and video editing, creating promotional and valuable contents through social media. Aside from all of this, I am also an entrepreneur where I experience importing goods to be sold online and maximize ecommerce platform in this time of uncertainty.
