Hello, I am Amira A. Salik, 26 years old, with a strong academic and practical foundation in Economics. I am currently pursuing my Master of Science in Economics, further strengthening my analytical and professional capabilities. Alongside my studies, I am working in the government sector as a Project Staff under the Regional Health Research and Development Consortium, where I support the implementation of various programs and projects that advance research in the Bangsamoro Region.
After earning my bachelor’s degree, I have continuously built meaningful experience across different roles. I believe that a small step can begin a great journey, and today I am ready to take my next step as a virtual assistant.
As an ambivert, I bring a balanced blend of strong communication, collaborative ability and focused independent work. I adapt quickly to new environments and maintain a mindset centered on continuous learning. I have also handled secretarial and administrative responsibilities, which strengthened my skills in coordination, documentation and task management.
In 2024, I worked with Amazon as a Product Researcher, where I handled market analysis, product evaluation, data interpretation and the use of digital tools for product sourcing. This role improved my research efficiency, accuracy in handling data and ability to work in a fast paced and competitive environment.
My experience as a Project Technical Assistant III, and now as part of a regional health consortium, allowed me to gain proficiency in digital platforms, Microsoft tools, scheduling, financial processes, graphics creation and software management. These responsibilities sharpened my attention to detail and the quality of my outputs. Working in government has also trained me to follow strict documentation standards and ensure compliance with established guidelines.
I believe in the importance of careful review and delivering work that is accurate and reliable. As I step into the field of virtual assistance, I am confident that my adaptability, strong communication skills, administrative foundation, research background and meticulous work ethic will allow me to contribute effectively to your team.

*Track submissions of research protocols and maintain an efficient system for recording approvals, reviews, and correspondence.
*Pre-screen submitted research protocols for completeness and alignment with ethical guidelines.
*Serve as the primary contact for REC-related inquiries from researchers and other stakeholders.
*Communicate REC decisions (approvals, revisions, rejections) to researchers in a clear and timely manner.
*Maintain secure and confidential storage of all REC-related documents, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and data privacy laws.
*Assist in planning and conducting training sessions for REC members on ethical guidelines and best practices.
*Monitor ongoing research studies approved by the REC to ensure adherence to REC-approved protocols.
*Perform other related functions of a regular or special nature as assigned by the REC Chair, BHRDC leadership, RDS Director, or RDID Chief.
