• Performing outbound calls to insurance companies (in the US) to collect outstanding Accounts Receivables.
• Responding to customer requests by phone and/or in writing to ensure customer satisfaction and to assure that service standards are met
• Analyzing medical insurance claims for quality assurance
• Resolving moderately routine questions following pre-established guidelines
• Performing routine research on customer inquiries.
• Developing and maintaining a solid working knowledge of the healthcare insurance industry and of all products, services and processes performed by the team
• Review and verify patient insurance eligibility, benefits and coverage.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
• Perform payment posting, account adjustments, and reconciliations
• Respond to appeal and dispute submitted by different US healthcare providers
• Experience working with customer relationship management (CRM) systems and phone dialer
systems

• Take transcription and handle correspondence
• Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits, and communicate with insurance companies and
third party payers necessary to resolve any coverage issues through mail
• Answer incoming calls from customers ranging from product information, price inquiries, complaints, delivery follow-ups, etc.
• Accurately log all incoming calls in the CRM (customer relationship management) system for proper documentation.
• Efficiently and effectively identify concerns and provide the necessary solutions where applicable.
• Coordinate with several branches and departments to resolve customer concerns and/or requests.
• Ensure pending concerns are attended to in a timely manner and escalate as needed.
Analyzing engagement data, identifying trends in customer interaction and planning digital campaigns to build community.
Search the Internet for information on a wide variety of topics.
Claims/Billing processing/Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
