(Human Resources Assistant)
Recruitment Support:
Assist in recruitment by posting job advertisements, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communication.
Maintain applicant tracking system (ATS) and recruitment records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with data protection regulations.
Coordinate pre-employment checks, including background checks, reference checks, and drug screenings.
Onboarding and Orientation:
Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, including preparing new hire paperwork, conducting orientation sessions, and assisting with the completion of employment forms.
Coordinate training schedules, materials, and logistics for new hire orientation and employee training programs.
Ensure new employees are integrated smoothly into the organization and have the necessary resources to succeed in their roles.
Employee Records Management:
Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System), including personal information, employment history, and benefits enrollment.
Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of employee records, adhering to data protection and privacy regulations.
Generate reports and queries from HRIS to support HR analytics, compliance reporting, and decision-making.
Benefits Administration:
Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries related to health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits programs.
Collaborate with benefits providers and the HR team to resolve employee benefits issues, address discrepancies, and ensure timely processing of benefit-related transactions.
Conduct benefits orientations for new employees and assist with open enrollment processes.
Employee Relations:
Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, providing information and guidance on HR policies, procedures, and programs.
Assist the HR team in investigating and resolving employee complaints, grievances, and conflicts in a timely and confidential manner.
Maintain positive employee relations by promoting a culture of open communication, fairness, and respect in the workplace.
HR Compliance:
Assist in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including EEO, ADA, FMLA, and FLSA.
Support the HR team in conducting audits, preparing reports, and responding to government inquiries or requests for information.
Stay informed about changes in employment laws and regulations, and assist in updating HR policies and procedures accordingly.
Administrative Support:
Provide administrative support to the HR team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, preparing correspondence, and maintaining departmental files and supplies.
Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned by the HR Manager or Director.
