Started as a General CSR and experienced talking to 100 customers per day which I'm grateful for because it enhanced my communication skills. I also received certificates and recognition for this role, which is part of the highlight of my journey with T-Mobile.
But later on, I switched to Chat Sales Expert for an Australian Company called Telstra, I became a Sales Coach after 6 months then was transferred to triple chat currency for a test pilot, but a year later, it shut down so I eventually switched to e-mail support for a Fashion retail company called ASOS based in the United Kingdom.
Even though I was assigned for e-mails, I also support chat and social media simultaneously. A month or 2 later, after receiving recognition for providing a quality service through e-mail, I was promoted to Operations Supervisor wherein I lead a total of 16 people in my team and we ended up getting a higher rank every month (not lower than 5) over 100 teams.
When the pandemic became crucial in our country, I decided to stop and resign to venture into the freelancing industry. This is where I started working for TapJoy and gained more experience in e-mail outreach and support, where I also gained recognition per month due to excellent and efficient service. I was truly excited and grateful for this opportunity because I was able to learn more about the gaming industry, even though I was a gamer, I never thought that working in this type of industry would excite me.
A few months later, I received an offer from a Blockchain company as a Brand Ambassador for their start-up crypto clients and handled their social media to promote their product/s. Which also lead me to a start-up gaming company and blockchain platform.
Even though I have gained recognition and achievements in my career because of the knowledge and skills that were taught to me, I'd say that the greatest impact that I've had is having my own team. Ever since I started working, I have observed that being a leader and a manager are 2 different things. And all those years, I've always been with a manager and never had a leader to work with, so I became one. I worked with my team from scratch to the top and made sure that we are not just a team but a family who can guide and help each other. I became a mom of 16 people even though they're older than me. I know the reason why we are consistently part of the top team is that we are all working together and not just them.
