Responsible for preparing purchase order for:
• Local and Imported PACKAGING MATERIALS for production use such as Labels, Tin cans, Plastic containers, Plastic Bags, Kraft Bags, Pouch, and Corrugated Boxes.
• Imported RAW MATERIALS.
• Imported FINISHED GOODS.
• Imported MACHINERIES.
• Marketing Collaterals

Key Responsibilities
• Monitor suppliers, cost, quality, delivery performance, and payment terms.
• Resolve problems related to PO including non-delivery of orders, packaging development, and sourcing, artwork concerns, and mockups.
• Sourcing new suppliers and negotiate the best price and payment terms.
• Canvassing, comparing, and evaluating price and quality to ensure the best deal.
• Updating and maintaining records of all orders and received stocks.
• Work closely with the material planners and warehouse supervisor to review delivery attainment to ensure and improve stock availability.
• Understand, track and forecast the factors affecting price and supply.
• Develop, negotiate and execute purchasing strategies with local and import vendors.
• Monitor Imported shipments, production lead time, departure and arrival, payment arrangement, and documentation for customs clearance.
• Close coordination with the broker for the shipping updates, payment of customs duties and taxes, validation of shipping documents.
• Collaborate with the financial team for the payment schedules, Telegraphic Transfer applications, bank receipts, and other financial matters.
• Preparing and filing customs permit requirements.
