During my virtual assistant training, I worked on various data entry and research assignments that tested my accuracy, efficiency, and analytical skills. One of my key tasks involved managing a call tracking spreadsheet, where I recorded and organized client call logs using Google Sheets. (I used the dropdown chip tool in this area [High School Diploma, Bachelor's, Master's, Doctorate] to navigate easily their level of education.
This required accurately converting call times across different time zones, categorizing call statuses, assigning prospects to coaches, and documenting key insights from conversations.
I was given research-based exercises to assess my ability to gather and organize information effectively.
I leveraged advanced search techniques, data validation, and spreadsheet formulas to ensure the accuracy and organization of the collected data. Through this experience, I strengthened my skills in data entry, internet research, and spreadsheet management—essential competencies for handling administrative and research-related tasks in a virtual assistant role.
