Hi! I am Zairah Mae Palmero, 27 years of age. With seven years of dedicated corporate experience in Human Resource Management, my professional path has been a rewarding and enriching one.
My career kicked off as an HR Assistant at a Distribution and Sales Company, where I honed my skills in recruitment, labor relations, and fostering employee engagement. Progressing further, I assumed the role of an HR Generalist in a leasing company, where I took on a wide spectrum of HR responsibilities, including recruitment, labor relations, employee engagement, and compensation & benefits. My commitment and performance led to my promotion as an HR Manager within the same organization.
A transformative phase of my career was marked by my role as HR Head at a Business Process Outsourcing company. Here, I embarked on the challenging task of building the HR department from the ground up. I formulated policies, implemented procedures, and eventually led a cohesive team of HR professionals.
Beyond my corporate endeavors, I enjoy the versatility of life, from managing administrative and HR functions for our small ice cream distribution business to taking charge of the social media messaging section for one of our city's most prominent music festivals. My innate passion for connecting with people, savoring culinary experiences, exploring new destinations, and actively participating in community service reflects my well-rounded persona.

Senior level within the organization, reporting directly to the CEO, EVP, and CFO. It involves close collaboration with Senior Management and Department Heads to provide overarching company oversight. The primary responsibilities encompass the development and execution of HR strategies in alignment with broader business goals. Additionally, the role entails continuous professional development, staying current in HR practices, and actively managing the department's daily operations and its team.
Reports directly to the CEO and EVP, overseeing the entire spectrum of HR functions from recruitment to termination. It holds decision-making authority for strategic business planning and policy development, including the establishment of employee performance improvement plans and HR programs aimed at fostering a harmonious work environment. Moreover, the role entails the responsibility of safeguarding departmental records and collaborating with the Safety Officer to ensure adherence to safety and health procedures within the organization.
This multifaceted role is responsible for a range of HR functions, including the preparation of weekly HR reports and handling labor relations matters, such as incident report investigations and HR-related cases from Notice to Explain to Notice of Decision. The position involves attending to DOLE and NLRC cases and overseeing employee movements through the preparation of Notice of Personnel Action. Additionally, it monitors the performance appraisal process, manages the end-to-end recruitment process, and handles the preparation of job offers and employment contracts, ensuring comprehensive HR support and compliance.
