Caregiver/Nurse Assistant, (On the Job Training)

Personal care: Monitoring and recording vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse. Assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting. This may include helping with mobility, transferring, and positioning the person.

Medication management: Ensuring that the person takes their medications as prescribed, organizing pillboxes, and tracking medication schedules. Some caregivers may also administer medications or provide injections under the guidance of healthcare professionals.

Documentation and Recordkeeping:
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient histories, vital signs, and treatment information.
Assisting with the completion of patient forms, insurance claims, and other administrative documents.
Updating and organizing patient charts, ensuring confidentiality and security of sensitive information.

Monitoring health: Observing and reporting any changes in the person's physical or mental health to appropriate healthcare professionals or family members.

Advocacy: Acting as an advocate for the person's needs and rights, communicating with healthcare providers and ensuring they receive appropriate care.
