As a trucking and logistic service provider operator, I am in charge of securing contracts with clients who are in need of our services, I handle bookings for each truck, coordinate with clients and stores, monitor pick up, loading and delivery status.
Part of being a truck operator is the need to make sure that all units are road worthy, which requires regular checking, maintenance and making sure that all vehicles have complete travel documents.
Since I am a sole proprietor, previously, before I got married, I was in charge of everything that the business required.
From allocating travel budget for each unit, liquidating daily expenses, computing weekly salary and preparing payslips. Encoding daily, weekly and monthly trips made and yearly audit of gross and net income and expenses.
I attended to all that the business needed to run smoothly in order to generate more income.

Train new associates on how to prequalify their lists of prospect clients, teach proper way of booking and setting a presentation schedule for their qualified prospects and preparation of tools needed for the presentation. I also have to train them on how to successfully turn prospects into clients by following basic sales strategy provided by the company, proper way of handling objections, questions and how to negotiate and find the ideal payment schemes for their investment.
I would be in charge of handling the first few presentations and closing a deal with the help of the new associate until ready to be on their own as a sales agent.
