HR & Admin Manager / Compliance
CREW CLAIMS / PERSONAL INJURY
•Overall supervision of Administration matters, P&I and legal cases
•Responsible for all paralegal and legal matters concerning crew claims
•Responsible with the legal and medical cases reports, claims, liaise with principals, P&I club and local correspondents.
•Represents the company in conciliation hearings along with the Local P&I/ assigned, legal counsel and final settlements of crew claims.
•Liaise with the assigned Legal counsels pertaining to legal documents, such as affidavits, position papers, release papers, among others coordinated with the Legal Counsel.
•Responsible for the proper coordination of the medical claims of seafarer, including documentation and coordination with seafarers, clinics, Assigned Local P&I, Legal Counsel and Principals.
•Monitors and checks all statements of accounts from medical clinics and process expense reports.
•Responsible for Payment process of all relevant expenses regarding crew medically repatriated crew, post medical and Death claims benefits.
•Responsible for the medical coverage of seafarers (HMO).
QMS
•Performs work within the standards of the company’s QMS.
•Overall supervision, development, and structuring of the QMS, including monitoring and recommending appropriate corrective and preventive measures, it includes liaising with the classification body on all matters about the QMS.
•Oversees the whole operation/ procedures of the company. Acts as the Quality Management Representative (QMR) or Quality
•Representative (QR) of the Organization. The CM has the responsibility and authority for directing the quality organization and ensuring that all those within it are formally recognized and that the system is regularly reviewed for effectiveness.
•Ensuring that essential processes of the QMS are established, implemented, and maintained.
•Ensuring that MLC 2006, and ILO Convention requirements are incorporated in the QMS and are effectively addressed.
•Suggestions to the management team on the performance of the QMS and determine improvement needs.
•Fostering awareness of customer requirements throughout the company.
•Overall responsible for establishing and practicing emergency plans at the office
•Initiating activities in the organization that will promote an awareness of the standards of the ISO 9001: 2015
ADMINISTRATIVE FUNCTIONS
•Acts as Executive Assistant to Greek Principals/Ship Owner Representatives and Top Management.
•Acts as Administration Dept as per instruction of the General Manager
•Performs other HR Functions (Hiring, coaching, Post-employment process, goal setting, delegating, etc).
•Evaluation of suppliers and subcontractors, accreditations, and compliance.
•Responsible for liaison and public relations assignments, which include contact with government agencies, officials, and top level management.
•Performs a variety of HR and administrative support functions.
•Responsible for the medical coverage of Staff and Seafarers/Family (HMO).
DATA CONTROLLER
•Assure all documents defined in the Masterlist of Controlled Documents are controlled following the Control of Documented Information Procedures.
