Customer Service Representative

Takes the call upon log in and answers the patient inquiries like their benefits, status of their out of pocket and deductible, processing monthly payment, adding dependents on their insurance, disputes, claims and pharmacy claims, initiating a 3-way call with third party vendor, filling an appeal, sending them list of doctors/providers nearby, sets an appointment schedule with their primary care physician, we also update their profile information if necessary.

Patient Care Advocate

Investigates if the balance is true patient’s responsibility by checking their contract with their insurance in carelink, checking if they were able to meet out of pocket and deductible, if balance happens to be true and valid we call patient’s phone number and explains them their balance and its charges and assists payment processing. At times, patient is requesting for a copy of bill thru email and mailing address so we also send it to them and advise turnaround time. We also do offline tasks like tagging accounts in sharepoint if it is a temporary or permanent do not call once account is on payment plan or ongoing account resolution. For disputes, we drop balances to insurance if it is not restricted but if it is restricted we send email to onshore team. Whenever patient is unattended we leave message in their voicemail to call us back and move to the next allocation
