ABOUT ME
I'm Annielyn M. Tiu; my friends call me Annie. I am 33 and live in Caloocan City, Philippines. I am a registered nurse and a graduate of information technology. I am a single mom of two wonderful children. I am a motivated and dedicated individual who enjoys learning and seeking new opportunities to expand my knowledge and skills. I am adaptable and able to quickly learn new skills and technologies. I also enjoy taking on new challenges in life.
I worked as a nurse in hospitals for some time and then as a data analyst at Accenture, where I saw a lot of opportunities in the technology industry. When I quit my job to take care of my kids, I pursued a bachelor's degree in information technology. Now I am pursuing a career where I can utilize my skills and knowledge in both my nursing and IT professions as a general virtual assistant. I have basic knowledge of the following:
Communication Tools:
• Email Clients: Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo Mail
• Instant Messaging: Microsoft Teams, Skype, and Viber
• Video Conferencing: Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Skype
File Management and Storage:
• Google Drive: Cloud storage for documents, spreadsheets, and presentations
• OneDrive: Microsoft's cloud storage solution, integrated with Office 365
Note-Taking and Documentation:
• Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and OneNote
• Google Workspace: Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, and Calendar
I am pursuing a career as a virtual assistant because it will allow me to work from the comfort of my home and enjoy being with my kids at the same time. It allows me to prioritize my professional goals and my role as a mother without compromising either.
I'm excited to meet new people and acquire new skills that will help me advance in my career and achieve my client’s objectives effectively.
