I made sure to enter the correct each invoice in the correct period to ensure accurate financial reporting. After completing the data entry, I reviewed the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all invoices were entered correctly. I also reconciled the ledger to the vendor statements to ensure that all invoices were accounted for and paid on time. Overall, the data entry experience allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of the importance of accuracy and attention to detail in accounting.
